Here are images of two airmail stamps designed by Saint Pierre & Miquelon painter Michel Borotra (1939- ), engraved by Jacques Combet, and issued by SPM on June 30, 1987, Scott Nos. C61 & C62, plus photos of the airplanes depicted on the stamps. - nethryk Hawker Siddeley HS 748 Air Saint-Pierre medium-sized turboprop airliner, publicizing the first flight from Saint Pierre to Montreal, Canada.   Latécoère 522 (F-ARAP c/n 01) Air France Transatlantique " Ville de Saint-Pierre" flying boat, flown to Saint Pierre by the famous French aviator Henri Guillaumet (1902-1940) on August 3, 1939.   |

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a Sikorsky S-58 helicopter in flight, designed by Edouard Meert, engraved by Leon Janssens, and issued by Belgium on June 15, 1957 to commemorate the 100,000th passenger carried by Sabena Airlines helicopter service, Scott No. 505, plus a photo of a Sabena S-58.
