Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting the Bleriot XI crossing the English Channel in 1909, designed and engraved by Jacques Gauthier, and issued by Niger on April 24, 1972 as one of a set of three stamps commemorating famous aircraft, Scott No. C183.

The Fokker F.VII, also known as the Fokker Trimotor, was an airliner produced in the 1920s by the Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker. Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting a Swissair Fokker F.VII in flight, designed by Swiss painter and poster artist Otto Baumberger (1889-1961), printed by photogravure (Courvoisier S.A.), and issued by Switzerland on September 1, 1944 as one of a set of four stamps commemorate the 25th anniversary of the National Air Post, Scott No. C38, plus a photo of a Swissair Fokker F.VIIb-3 m (CH-192) piloted by Walter Mittelholzer in Kassala (Sudan), February 1934.

Jean-Pierre Blanchard (1753-1809) was a French inventor and a pioneer in aviation and ballooning. John Jeffries (1744-1819) was an American physician, scientist, and military surgeon. On January 7, 1785 Blanchard and Jeffries completed the first manned flight over the English Channel in a balloon. Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting the Blanchard-Jeffries hydrogen gas balloon crossing the Channel, designed by Czech artist Josef Liesler (1912-2005), combined engraved by Jindra Schmidt and photogravure, and issued by Czechoslovakia on September 15, 1977 as one of a set of five stamps showing events in the history of aviation, Scott No. C91, plus an image of an 18th century engraving of this event.

Parachutist, designed by Mario Stretti, engraved by Bedrich Housa, and issued by Czechoslovakia on January 25, 1958 to publicize the 4th World Parachuting Championships, held in Bratislava, Scott No. 842.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a Hansa-Brandenburg C.I biplane, designed and engraved by Hans Ranzoni the Younger, and issued by Austria on May 15, 1961 to commemorate the 1st Austrian airmail service (1918), and to publicize the 1961 LUPOSTA Exhibition, held in Vienna, Scott No. 660, plus a photo of a Hansa-Brandenburg C.I, originally designed by German aircraft designer Ernst Heinkel (1888-1958) as 2-seater armed single-engine reconnaissance biplane for use by the Central Powers during World War I.

Marcel Dassault (born Marcel Bloch, 1892-1986), was a French aircraft industrialist who built the foremost military aircraft manufacturer in France, Avions Marcel Dassault. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Dassault and depicting various airplanes produced over the years by his company, designed and engraved by Jacques Gauthier, and issued by France on January 23, 1988, Scott No. 2087, Y&T No. 2502.
