If they are mint they catalog 4.65 so you paid a tad over half catalog...i would say you did not pay too much..the used ones catalog 2.60 then you would have paid full cat....

Very Very nice stamps guys and gals!! Sorry for having not been on much lately but have had lots of problems with the computer lately but am hoping to have it fixed by early next week. Keep fingers crossed and I hope to be back in full swing very soon.

I just received a recent purchase that I thought would be a good reason to re-open this topic.
Here is the RAF 75th anniversary set from the Falkland Islands. Two are very important aircraft.





The next one is the Avro Vulcan which destroyed the runway at MPA and was the subject of the excellent account in the book Vulcan 607



And last but not least - The one closest to my heart. Chinook ZA718 'The survivor'
The only Chinook that survived the sinking of the Atlantic Conveyor.
This and the Puma in my avatar were the aircraft I worked on just before I left the service.
