I found a question about a same `vignette` to the first three (but from 1981), and an answer: http://www.lemarchedutimbre.com/for...f=3&limite=0Here`s what I understood: the stamp is green(ish), it depicts a winged woman and a world map, no other inscription, just Federation des Sociétés Philatéliques Françaises. Answer: it`s a `vignette` (label) given each year to members of affiliated stamp clubs to the Federation, when they pay their membership fee. |

The French NVI is SG4356 (2008), La Joconde by da Vinci, one from a set of 10 self-adhesive stamps showing famous paintings. The value of the stamps when issued was 54c. |

That's great news, thanks Wadmalatz, I feared no one would crack it. Cannot help seeing a relationship with another stamp.... |

I think the last Cinderellaaddresses the French "League of Education" which promotes education free of religious control.
Pertinent, as tonight on the news, I hear local school/s in Perth are now doing away with "The Lord's Prayer" generally recited at special gatherings. A necessity it seems of multi culturism. Interesting times.

I wonder if the 'other cultures' are dropping their own prayers in their own countries ? I somehow doubt it. Disgraceful. Londonbus1 |

Nice stamps Rod.
I agree the colonies shaded in does look like an idea copied from the earlier Canada stamp. Should have added colour and they would have had a winner, especially with the mythological winged figure gathering the empire together in the center.
Nice expressions on the faces of the girls in the school stamp.

Hey Rod If you look closely at the maps on the "Federation des Sociétés Philatéliques Françaises" cinderellas you will note that the dark shadings depict France's colonies at the time |

Perhaps not the Empire per se Huckle, maybe they were advertising locations of their member societies? They are alive and well today it seems. |
