James, My grand mother, god bless her, was at a yard sale a few years ago and bought my Brother Abram and myself each a "lamp"...of course it wasn't a lamp...



I had to go out to the carriage house to find it. I knew I still had it!

Star of many a "CARRY ON" film... Sidney James was a smoker of note.



My great-grandmother was also a smoker of smelly substances yet to be scientifically analysed. Like the famous Sherlock Holmes, she was reputed to keep her smoking materials in the toe of a Persian slipper. I am not aware of who the particular Persian was but he was presumably walking with a limp.

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood is pictured smoking on this Austrian stamp from 2003.



Incidently, this stamp plus the other three issued have the distinction of being the first stamps to have "AUSTRIA" printed on them and not the usual "Osterreich".
