Hi,

Is it common to see color difference like that on this stamp?

Thank you!

This stamp was issue three separate times, in 1955, 1959 and 1967-68. All are labeled in Scott's as bright ultra. But let's admit it, over 12 years and three different printings, the inks are bound to be mixed a little differently.
All three are perf 11 X 12. The differences are the watermark - 1955 wmk308, 1959 wmk 322 and 1967 unwatermarked. Time to get the fluid out.

edit- I suppose it's also possible the upper stamp has oxidized, darkening the colour.
Notice there are perfins on the bottom stamp. There's a challenge for you, figuring out what they are.

Your copy is a dark shade, I don't think I have ever seen one so strong.
It is from a De La Rue printing but you will have to check the watermark as james suggested to determine whether it's a 1955 or 1959 printing.

Can you scan the reverse of item 2 with the perfin, will make it easier to ID it.
