These sheets of 24 labels showing natural wonders (only in blue?) were issued by Posterstamp Publicity Ltd, presumably around the pre-war period. I have them for Canada:

and South Africa:

and I know they exist also for Australia (I would like to see an image of this sheet). There was also a booklet album produced to stick them into (similar to the albums for cigarette cards) and I have seen this for Australia too.

Does anyone know if they were produced for any other countries? I could image India might be a candidate and maybe places like New Zealand? Chris Wren

Many thanks for this Australia sheet Rod, although it is not the one I was looking for! This is the other set for the 150th Anniversary (not the Parkshaw sheets as in your other thread). There is an Australia version of the Our Beautiful Empire series, in plain blue as per the Canada and S Africa sheets. Chris Wren

In one of the great Cinderella scoops of the century
I managed to take posession of this original
Stamp shop counter sign, it is very thick cardboard
with a leaf flap at the rear so the broadsheet
stays prominent on the counter, similar to the common
household picture frame.

I have posted a part image due to the 100kb restriction.

There is a set for the 1940 NZ stamp expo
Poster Stamps
See Riga Stamps The Richard C Witt collection.
These are not "Beautiful Empire" however.

Fabulous item! The Canadian National Exhibition set of 42 also seems elusive. I have most of them, made up from singles and small blocks but have yet to see a full sheet. Chris Wren

There is an Our Beautiful Empire sheet (in blue again) for Great Britain also but I haven't seen an example of this one yet.
Here is the only image I have for the Australia set:

FYI
I took a stroll through 3000 pages of the Australian Hornage Cinderellas
none shown there, albeit, he seems not to specialise in "poster" stamps per se.

Many thanks to 22Crows for the Australia and GB link. I had missed your reply when I posted my images. The picture of the outside cover of the album is also great to see. Chris Wren

Chris,
22crows is one of our resident wizards, (in this case wizardesses)
in researching stuff.
I think it's a huge Bravo for her, great catch!

This is the first time I have seen the Aussie family.

The fun thing about these Our Beautiful Empire stamps is the butterfly watermarks visible on the back. If you have any, flip 'em over to check it out. I've got sheets of the Canada, South Africa, GB and Australia. Let me know if you'd like to see some scans. I haven't seen any other countries. I guess that they were produced in the late 1930's as the Canada booklet has a reference to maple syrup production for the year 1936.

For the record, here's what the back of the Our Beautiful Empire stamps looks like. Pretty butterflies...
