Definitives From Around The World

Welcome, centerstage. That sounds like a sane approach to collecting the world. If you have access to a scanner, all the better...then you can post some of your own.

Paraguay doesn't seem to garner much attention. Here is an 1884 definitive, with many possible varieties for the specialist to seek out:




Aside from the fact that it is litho and not engraved, what's not to love?

Canada 2012 Flag 'Canadian Pride' booklet stamps, non-denominated P for permanent = domestic postage paid (2012 = 61c).

One way to collect these 10-stamp booklets is to get all of the different backs. I am not sure how many were made for this issue, maybe five for five different stamps? Guessing, have to check later.

Hey, there's one for the error collectors - they've misspelled his name on the back of that booklet. The correct spelling is "Lueders", people are always getting that one wrong.

This thread could use a bump...I don't think I've shared this before...the 1-peseta issue from Gibraltar during the period when Gibraltar used Spanish currency for its stamps (1889-1898).

Ryan, interesting to see what the reprints produce.

Went through the 18 pages , enjoyed them immensely, & found there werent any from Singapore yet. Here's the 2011 Pond Life definitives
