Here is an image of a stamp depicting a scenic landscape including a train, engraved and printed by Waterlow & Sons, Ltd., and issued by Ecuador on August 1, 1930 as one of a set of 13 stamps commemorating the founding of the republic, Scott No. 309.

Stamp Russia USSR SC 5044-8
1982 Electric Locomotive Train Soviet Union

Russia issued this attractive set of five mint Railroading stamps on May 20, 1982. The stamps feature the following

locomotives: TUL-80 electric, TEP-75 diesel, TEP-7 diesel, WL-82m electric, and EP-200 electric.

This thread is going to cost me hours of my life. I so love trains I want one of everything shown in this thread. Awesome awesome trains!. Wish we had more train travel options in the US.

Gotta say, I take a train most mornings now to work in downtown Toronto. Not nearly as romantic as these stamps make it out to be.

Anyway, just noticed the train on this 1927 Canadian Special Delivery.
