Laid "lines" is a good way to remember what laid paper refers to which is what your stamps appear to have. A very nice stamp find.

Did you ever get these certified? It would be very nice to know.

My first impression is yes that does look like laid paper but given how rare the #33 is supposed to be, I am hesitant to say.

Sure looks like laid paper to me based on the scans. As far as rarity goes, the 3c is the least rare. The nicely centered one would go for a good price. $1000+ for sure at auction. Probably more.
More than worth a certificate from VGG expertization.

I have had them looked at, although not certified yet, and concensus has been they are 33's. Sometime next fall I will look into trading or selling at least one of them off.

Thanks
