Latest addition my collection of tiny (I define tiny as under 3.5") covers;

This cover measures 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" and was carried on a December 1935 experimental rocket mail (explains the small size) service from New Jersey across the river to NY, and then on to Joliet Ill via USPOD airmail.

Here is my smallest cover (2.48 in x 3.35 in)
Could use some help identifying it .
Does the black border make it a "Mourning Cover" ?
It is a perf 12 , I'm thinking it might be a Scotts 358. blue/grey
The postmark is Sept 29 , 1910
Scotts 332 first print was Nov 1908 earliest documented Dec 2 , 1908
Scotts 358 first print Feb 16 , 1909 earliest documented Feb 23 , 1909
Scotts 375 first print Nov 23 , 1910 earliest documented Dec 3 , 1910
It is to early to be a 375 and maybe to late to be a 332 . Im thinking 358 makes more sense
Any thoughts from the guild would be much appreciated

Yes, black borders on envelopes and stamps indicate "mourning".
Which guild are you refering to?

Wasn't to sure if they had their own category then I read scotzm's post and thought 0hh maybe I should ask . Thanks , any thoughts on what Scott number might be tied to my cover ?

Loving this thread! I didn't care much for covers until I stumbled upon these two in a random kiloware. They're just so cute and whimsical!

My first submission measures 4" x 3.5". Not that small compared to most of these but small enough for me!

This one is even smaller measuring 4" x 2". And it still has the original (presumably) wax seal on the back! I love it!

I really like that one from Austria! It looks to be from the 1850s. Were there any contents?
