Very nice start
France was one of my earliest collections. C27 was my favorite along with the Jules Verne issue.
The C1 &C2 were extensively forged. Forgeries are now my area of interest.
If you are interested, send me a good scan of one & I can tell you 99% if it is real.
The other 1% are measurements you need to make.

Jimjam it's true, this collection is virtually all mint after 1906 or so. Quite a few pretty heavily hinged up 'til 1935, which is typical I guess. Not a souvenir sheet to be seen , but really missing only a couple dozen stamps between 1877 and 1951 for the definitives & commems.

Boy the margins and centering are tough on the definitives, esp. pre-1940.
