"Rural Education:" Teacher and pupils planting a tree, designed and engraved by French artist Jean Pheulpin (1907-1991), and issued for use in Togo on October 22, 1956 to publicize Fonds d'Investissements pour le Developpement Économique et Social (FIDES), the French infrastructure that delivered aid to its colonies, Scott No. 331.

Here are images of the five stamps in a set depicting indigenous species of trees, respectively: Prosopis, Jujube, Date Palm, Peltophorum and Baobab, designed and engraved by French artist Gilbert Aufschneider Gilbert (1927- ), and issued by Mauritania on May 15, 1967, Scott Nos. 225-29.
