broken T in POSTAGE also breaks in dead flower stamens (other examples exist)
Ink run from "2" to tip of flower.
Note - colour shift, Many other missing specks from letters etc, Missing specks may be from "glue splatter" from pasting in booklet or maybe from brittle ink breaking off?
I`ve been searching through my box of flowers and came up with these two. Not quite as blunt as yours but close. Note the top of the 2 on the right stamp. There`s no damage here and you can see a weak line.
