5$ Moose, Is That A SC 1693ii (Offset On The Back)??

Hi.

I am not a frequent poster, but I read all posts with interest.

I was just wandering if the SC1693 I just got fresh out of the Canada Post's Web Store could be a 1693ii (with offset on the back). I do believe that it has a certain offset on the back, but I wonder if there is some degree to this "variety". The pictures I found on the Internet were not of a high enough quality for a good compare.

I was a little surprise to see this since there is supposed to be only 200 declared... To get one (if it really is a 1693ii) fresh from Canada Post after so many years, it make me wonder if there could be more then we think... But again, it is a nice surprise to get!

No mater the final verdict, it is still a very nice stamp!

You're right wert, he has 201. But wouldn't that drop the value some what? Not a scarce as they thought.

Well, It is a good investment for 5$... Maybe I'll try to order one more. Since I was ordering a 1693 and got a 1693ii, I still have an empty space to fill.
