Missed a note in my Scott catalog regarding water soluble ink.

A blank piece of paper on the left used to be a face of the stamp.

wow...I have never seen what would happen.

Thanks for your sacrifice - sorry about your losing the stamps - but hopefully fewer stamps will be lost in the long run.

I did that too with the Dutch colonies stamps.
Now I have the faded ink versions.
