This stamp has no id on it, yet I assume it's Austrailan or England..This stamp is NH..I would appreciate any

Hi Cul-lector

It is Great Britain, Scott #420 if w/o the phosphor bars and #420p if it has these phosphor bars.

I believe that GB is the only country that issues stamps w/o it's name on it by just having a head of royalty on them. Australai would have to have the name of their country to identify them.

Just like to add that this 4d stamp was printed on two different machines...Rembrandt and Timson.

If your stamp has phosphor bands then it was printed by the Rembrandt machine.
If a non-phosphor then either machine could have been used. Rembrandt printings have less detail on the face if you compare it to the Timson.
