This is my site that will eventually have everything that I have for sale listed here. Right now working on US singles as the FDC, plate blocks and Sheets are finished. Commments always welcome. Sure would like people to check it out, if for nothing more than traffic. The site is still somewhat under construction but is up and working. NEED A NEW TITLE FOR THE SITE (I think ALLSTAMPS has won that). All help appreciated.

Thanks for checking it out - Jeff

Are you coding the site yourself or is it a canned layout?

IMO the items are too big. You're using 4+" of screen real estate for each item. Even on a 28" hi-res widescreen I can only see 2 items at a time.

Nice Jeff. I have to agree with stampmutt that you could probably make it more compact, but I do like the large blowups of the covers.
I look forward to the addition of more material for sale. After all, you know I don't collect FDCs.

Mr.Lovell, will there be anything apart from USA ?

Nice looking, could be more compact but I'm OK with it.

I signed up !

Looks good. Two pieces of constructive feedback:

1. You have a lot of dead space in the main content column. You could actually make the pictures bigger to fill the white space.
2. You're getting a script error after clicking "Read more".

I like it. Can't wait until you get more than the covers up.

By the way, my son is an FDR nut. Do you happen to have any of the FDR fdc's for sale on your site? I didn't want to have to look through the whole site quite yet. I will eventually but not yet.

Thanks,

BT

Hi Jeff,

I registered too.

I saw a few individual stamps as I was going through the pages.
On the left side where it says "Navigation", could you put some categories above "Shopping Cart"?
How about a category for First Day Covers and a category for US stamps?

HEY thanks everyone for looking, working on the compact, also the categories. Just got the site up and running and looking for all sorts of feed back. World stuff will be going up, I am going as fast as I can with everything else in LIFE as you all know. Yes I have FDR FDCs, if they are not up yet they will be. Thanks for the note on the error, I will pass it along to my nephew who writes to code for the site. If anyone else is interested in a site email him (Nic) at nic@nlightened.net . THanks to all and keep sending along suggestions and I will try to accomodate. If people are looking for something specific you can also reach me at the the email on the website. Thanks all, really thanks! - Jeff

Jeff,

I'd recommend that you consider including a home page that provides some background information (e.g., category index (index could hotlink to appropriate pages), shipping information (sales tax for MA residents?), registration info (can you purchase without registering? what benefit is there to registering?), contact information, etc.).

Steve

Have not looked at the site yet; you might think more about AllStamps - it seems you are dealing with covers, too. It's all philately, but when I see a dealer that says AllStamps, I only expect to find stamps - not other items.
