Now you`ve got me started... I searched through some 2c stamps today and found a few blinkies: A...Type 8 B...Type 12...First Stage C...Type 6...left First Stage...right Third Stage D...Type 14.
This stamp has a dot in the top margin above the ST of POSTES. Right straight edge and it`s Winnipeg tagged. Listed in the newsletters as only orange perf 12.5x12 but here is a black version.
Here we have a dot in the upper left margin near the `P`. If you look close at the bottom right margin just under the last `A` you will see a dot. This is #30 in the group of 42 posted on page 14. Both varieties show up on the same stamp. Reported variety.
I have no idea what caused all the dots. Canadian Bank Note had very few problems with their printings. Most of these dots are found on British American Bank Note printings.
