Does anybody know how many booklet panes are on one horizontal row of a plate? This is BK 69, the 25c booklet with two 8c stamps. |

You MUST get the Harris Centennial Definitive Series book.
At page 340, there is an article by Leopold Beaudet "Plating BK69". He explains how the booklets were printed. He tells us how many panes there are along the axis and cylinder of the engraved cylinder.
If you have the book go to page 340. If you don't , buy a copy of the book.
You state that your varieties have been reported. Where? |

As Alani stated on July 19, 2012 (page 10 of the topic) "When I say listed or reported I mean I have seen the variety in the Centennial Study Group newsletters."
The Centennial Study Group under BNAPS (British North America Philatelic Society) recently merged into The Elizabethan Study Group.

They merged a couple of years ago Gilles, but really, the Centennial group was inactive for quite a while.
The ESG is looking for a new editor now - I hope they find one. Robin will be missed, he did such a great job. |

On page 10 of 16. How could I possibly have missed it? Excuse me! I was a member of the Centennial Study Group for years. It simply ran out of steam. Quite understandable given the huge amount of information that was provided by its membership, much of which has been summarized in the Harris book. The newsletters are indeed a goldmine and can be found here: http://bnatopics.org/hhlibrary/news...rs/n-cen.htmIf this URL has been posted between pages 1 and 16, my apologies. May I suggest that if you are posting "reported" varieties that you state the Newsletter number and the page on which the variety is described as well as the URL. |

Thanks for the kind words. I`m getting to the bottom of the pile. Will have to slow down soon and start sorting out some more. |
