Scott 267, Type 3 and for colors, the following are the options.

Carmine
Deep Carmine
Reddish Carmine
Pink
Bright Pink
Vermillion
Rose Carmine.

I've posted a 573, which is Carmine below it for comparison. Opinions ?

Here are two examples of Scott 267 taken from the Arago site. The color of the 266-267 pair is carmine and the stamp on the right is rose carmine. Based on these examples, this colorblind collector would judge your stamp's color to be either Reddish Carmine or Rose Carmine.

Being as the Rose Carmine appears to be somewhat scarce as Scott's doesn't even list a price for it, I think I can rule that shade out.

I'm realistic and I know the odds...
Let me muddy the Waters a little. I dug up some other 267's Types 3's (They could be Type 4 but I wouldn't know the difference) the middle stamp is the one in question.

I've got a little experience with muddy water in my prior life so let me wallow in this discussion. I went to my surplus and found the top row I had identified as 267 (carmines) and the bottom row as 267a (pinks). I think your stamp in question may be more closely aligned with the pinks but, like I said earlier, I'm colorblind so color determination isn't a strength!
