Page 5 – I put the Locomotive descriptions to the left of the stamps to balance out the stamp above it with the description on the right. Purely cosmetic. You can keep using your old page if you like it.
Page 8 – Changed stamp caption to read "Wedding Headdress" instead of "Traditional Headdress," so it matches the page previous to it that contains the description.
Page 10 – Changed the size of the box so that the Pelican Miniature Sheet fits inside of it properly
Page 14 – Added the se-tenant pairs for the traditional costumes.
Page 15 – Changed the description for the traditional costumes sheet so it's not a duplicate of the description for the se-tenants.

Better check your page numbers again???

Andy: Is 2011 good to go or do you still need to change the triangle size?

I probably need to change the triangle size. But, for today, I'm going to bed...

So, page 5 should be page 6. The rest are OK.

Page numbers assume you have printed out the supplement and tossed page 1, which is the notes, copyrights and credits page.

Ok, I have decided to leave 2011 alone. I would need to make the box for the triangle stamp 2 mm smaller. I don't think it's worth the effort for 2mm, so leave 2011 as is.

And I have also created a complete download guide for all the pages. Here it is:

Well, it looks like I may need to do more research to deal with these 1991-92 provisional stamps. A lot of provisionals were printed on paper using a printer. Ukrainian-philately.info has provisionals listed from Kiev, Lviv and Mykolayiv. When I check ebay, people are selling provisiionals from Kharkiv that look like they are printed out on a dot matrix printer. I'm wondering if I should just make pages for the overprints, or should I include the self-printed provisionals as well. I may need to find a really good reference book on this topic, or just joing the UPNS and ask the experts.

I'd start with the provisional stamps that you can verify as legitimate Government Post Office issues.

You can always add additional pages as more information becomes available.

From what I understand… there are hundreds, if not thousands of private issues.

It may be years before the Ukrainians themselves can verify what was legitimate and what were private issues. It's already been 20 years and still there are disputes as to what is what!

As to what was produced at a local Post Office and what was produced by someone's personal computer.

1918 through 1923 anytime soon?

I'd suggest a basic set of pages based on the Scott catalogue including the unissued stamps form 1920 to 1923.

Then you can always add specialized pages for the tridents and other issues.

I actually started to make a page for the four semi-postals from the YPCC for famine relief. 4 stamps were very easy. Well, technically 12. 4 watermarked, 4 unwatermarked and 4 imperforate.

The older stuff I am trying to get more information on. I know about the Vienna Issue. Prineted but never issued. The 1918-1920 UNR stamps had imperfs and perforated stamps on all the designs I believe. I don't own any of these stamps and I don't have a reliable site for sizing them. I'll keep trying.

So, you may have noticed that 1993-2000 is missing the A4 paper size, and I'm working to correct that. I decided to make an A4 of 1993.

And here's the part where I'm going to get dirty looks…

I changed stuff.

The way I lay pages out now is quite different from when I did things in April. So I made some COSMETIC ONLY changes to the pages. The old 1993 supplement is just fine and I have made NO changes to the stamp text or fixed any errors.

Below is the changelog of what I tweaked. You can decide if what you printed out is just fine, or if you want to print and remount. Personally, my 1993 stamps are staying right where they are, because I'm a cheap .

Changes:

  • A4 version now available
  • Cleaned up spacing on airmail delivery stamps so they are 4 mm apart, so they match the spacing of related stamps on newer supplements
  • Changed the map in the header to use the SVG version in newer supplements.
  • Changed the order of the stamps to be in issue order.
  • Cleaned up spacing on definitive stamps so they are 4 mm apart, so they match the spacing of related stamps on newer supplements.

For the 1920 set of 14 unissued stamps, I would suggest just doing the perforated stamps. The imperfs, inverted center pages could be included in a specialied section. The other varieties appear to be from printer waste.

For the 1923 det of 11 unissued stamps, I would also suggest again just doing the perforated stamps.

Creating specialized sections gives the collector a choice which is good.

Ok, here's my crack at the first set of provisionals. Let me know what you think...

Special thanks to Bohdan Hrynyshyn of ukrainian-philately.info for letting me use his images and descriptions.
