Does any of these local stamps looks to be unusual?

We can't really see the details. Suggest you divide your stamps into two separate scans, 3 x 3 stamps in each.

For lack of a better place to put these, here are two values from Malmo, Sweden's bypost (local post).

For a while, I was put off by allegations that the Scandinavian byposts were thinly disguised attempts to sell stamps to collectors, but I got over it.

Here is a site with some nice scans of Norwegian byposts:

I knew there would be a post about these :) I found these in a pile, anyone have any idea if there is any value to these ? Not in my collecting interest and I have no idea about the year, how many were in the set ,...etc.

I also have the 40 Ore, block of 10 MNH and the 50 Ore block of 4 MNH. I have a bunch of blocks of other similar ones I'll post up later.

My notes with my Malmo examples show a date of 1888 and a total of 7 values, through a 1kr high value.

If my information is correct (and I don't remember where I saved it from), then the 50-ore, 75-ore and 1kr are the only ones not yet pictured here.

The Hammerfest stamps in the original message are from a set of 4 stamps issued in 1888. The missing stamp is grey and is denominated 2 ore. The 10 and 8 ore stamps also exist with 2 and 4 ore surcharges.

This city post did not last very long, starting up on July 13, 1888 and closing at the end of that year. The stamps continued to be sold as souvenirs until around 1895. These souvenirs were often "offically" cancelled.

This info is from the "Katalog over Norges Byposter", by Bjorn Schoyen and Finn Anne. Published in 2005.
