Picked up this Canadian 1942 C7 Airmail at stamp club tonight for a penny. What caught my eye was the very heavy cancel.
Appears to say Anniversary and Victoria with a picture of what looks like an old fort tower?

I'm very curious about it. Does anyone have an example of the entire cancel?

Fort Victoria Centennial, circa 1943. For a summary of the machine cancel and an image of what the entire postmark looked like, refer to this link:

The slogan cancellation was produced by the "Perfect Machine" cancellation company and was used in 1943 only.

On a complete cover, the Coutt's Catalogue lists it at $10.00. Some people say this catalogue has the prices too high and others argue that they are within range of current market values (?). So, you be the judge.

It is a very nice cancel regardless.
