Guatemala Cinderellas Did I Act Too Quickly?

Yesterday at the stamp show someone was looking at a box of cinderellas and my eyes caught the word GUATEMALA....its amazing what you want to see sometimes...i cant make this too long or I will not have room for the scan...anyway when I got home I saw the El Salvador part...i have never seen the items before ...i hope they qualify for my Guatemala back of book collection !

the big thing is philb I would imagine is the year the Expo was held - cant see any date on them

Your stamps are a good Guatemala / El Salvador cinderella collectibles.

Upon examination you will see, the coat of arms of El Salvador on the left and Guatemala on the right with a bridge in the center linking the two countries together.

the Exposition Agricola Industrial was an Exposition to promote agriculture and manufacturing in Latin America during the 1950's and 1960's. It was held in several countries; for example it was held in Guanacaste, Costa Rica on November 09-11, 1951. I do not know the exact date of these Cinderellas but they are probably from the 1950's.

Thanks Timm, the 1950s is possible..i thought they might have been older but it was difficult to find info on them...the editor of our Guatemala magazine..who knows almost everything Guatemalan said they are not Guatemala back of book material...but what can stop me from starting a Guatemala RELATED topic ?
