I found this Swiss stamp with a large T stamped on it.
Does anyone know more about this cancellation?

A postage due marking for "Taxe" not exactly a cancellation.

Precisely. Sommebody was naughty and did not paste enough postage on their letter/package.

There are two versions in Swiss Philately,

Many other countries employ the "T" strike, France for one, and Belgium have a set.
