I went to the post office today, to send some coins to Egypt. I'm standing in the queue looking over at the wall with the display of new issue stamps and noticed the Megafauna issue.

I post my letter and then go browse the new stamps and decide to buy the new stamps and grab a set for Bandicoot while I'm there. I start walking back to work and reach into my pocket to grab my phone to let James know that I have the new stamps.

Before my hand gets to my phone, it starts to ring. It's James! He is standing outside another post office with two sets of the same stamps in his hand. He has bought one for me at exactly the same time. SPOOKY.

Anyway here is what we bought...

I'll Just bet that if you have any spares no one would object to some of these on the next parcel you send to them

PS I've done a lot of sorting the last little while.

I'm assuming you still collect WW.

Thanks Dianne,

We are still working on this pile of Aussie stamps.
Might be a while before we get a package in the mail for you.
Do you need any other countries? I have a heap of spares.

Wow what a great set of stamps! The Megalania is my favorite. My son always asked me to buy him a Komodo dragon as a pet. My response was always "no way!" Eventually we settled on getting a baby iguana. Now he is off at college and I am stuck taking care of his adult iguana - which is quickly out-growing its 60 gallon terrarium!

Yours is going out today a large packet of US. Tell Bandi and Emma I'm going to hold on to theirs for a week or so to see if I can find some more I'm assuming Emma is still collecting Animals and cartoons.

This Giant Kangaroo was believed to be 10 feet tall and weighed 500 pounds-imagine running into him one night on your way home from work! ha

This stamp was featured in Linn's stamp News Nov 24th, 2008 issue.
Thanks Triggersmob for sending them my way along with other Wonderful Aussie stamps!
