tried to find scott or gibbons numbers for these to no avail. can anyone help with numbers and perhaps values. thank you

2 cent= Scott#110 wmk.3 or #130 wmk.4.
4 cent= Scott#111 " " or #133 " ".
10 cent= Scott#114 " " or #137 " ".
20 cent= Scott#116 " " or #139 " ".

Gibbons numbers and current (2012 catalogue) values:

If watermark multiple Crown CA
2 cent SG 101 30p (watermark inverted, and inverted and reversed exist - rare, unpriced)
4 cent SG 102 30p
10 cent SG 105 30p
20 cent SG 107 £1.75

If watermark multiple script CA
2 cent SG 118 80p
4 cent SG 120a 30p
10 cent SG 124 30p (watermark inverted unpriced used, but £350 mint)
20 cent SG 125 30p

And a refresher on watermarks for earlier Hong Kong (or for any other British colony with British Colonial and Crown Agents watermarks)....


Upper Left: Crown and C C (wmk 1)
Upper right: Crown and C A (wmk 2)
Lower left: Multiple Crown and C A (wmk 3)
Lower right: Multiple Crown and Script C A (wmk 4)

As mentioned, these stamps are either watermark 3 or 4 (Scott nomenclature).

It is important to establish the watermark if, for no other reason, that valuations can differ.
