Maybe is General Franco's face

These charity labels would were issued by the "Falange". The logo with arrows belong to Falange and Franco's fans.

Loya and Antequera are places in Spain.
Probably issued in Civil War time (1936-39)

Antequera and Loja (not Loya, as incorrectly written on the stamps), are two towns in Andalucia (Souhern Spain). Antequera belongs to the province of Málaga, while Loja is on the Granada one. Both places were occupied by the advancing fascist army in August 1936.

The yoke and the arrows are the emblem of the la "Falange Española", one of the fascists parties that backed the Army's upraise against Spanish democratic republican regime.

The yoke and rhe arrows come from the initials of Catholic Kings: Ferdinand, king of Arago and Count of Barcelona (among other titles)and Isabel (or Ysabel) Queen of Castile. In Spanish, arrows are "flechas" (hence, the king's initial) and yoke, "yugo", which stands for the queen's initial.

As for the portrait on the background, given the character of the subject, it might very well be Franco's...

I can make an album page!

Nice to find out my query on the iconography,
the "yoke" had me bamboozled for years.

The English word (Persons name) "Fletcher" comes from archery,
"One who puts the flights on the end of arrows"
so there is a very old connection there.

I could not find any connection to the apparent fire
on the label from Antequera, I presume the ravages of war

Thanks very much guys and gals.

Rod, the connection is very clear. The republicans ("reds" as the fascists called them) were charged of setting fire to churches as well as killing priests. This was actually done by the anarchists fighting alongside the democratic forces.
But, anyway, it was a shameful issue that did a lot of damage to the image of democratic peoples of Spain fighting fascism, as most of the free world would be doing very soon...In less than three years!

Thank you very much Rod for putting my alias in your sheet, but there wasn't any need. All that I write here is public and can be used freely by our SCF friends. Not to mention by you, who have always been so helpful and friendly.
