This stamp featuring a young lion scoring a basket was issued in 2010 for the 1st Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore, and it is part of a 4-stamp issue commemorating the event. The lion is one of the 2 mascots of the games. Scott 1452.

The 1970 FIBA World Championship was an international basketball competition hosted by Yugoslavia at Sarajevo, Split, Karlovac, Skopje and Ljubljana, from May 10 to 24, 1970. Here is an image of a stamp depicting basketball players, designed by Yugoslavian artist Andreja Milenkovic (1923-2005), engraved by Velibor Cvetkovic, and issued by Yugoslavia on April 25, 1970 to publicize the championship, Scott No. 1023.
