This stamp featuring a young lion scoring a basket was issued in 2010 for the 1st Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore, and it is part of a 4-stamp issue commemorating the event. The lion is one of the 2 mascots of the games. Scott 1452.  |

The 1970 FIBA World Championship was an international basketball competition hosted by Yugoslavia at Sarajevo, Split, Karlovac, Skopje and Ljubljana, from May 10 to 24, 1970.
