Went to my first stamp club meeting of the season, after a summer break. Great to see everyone again. Managed to win a couple of books and pick up some stamps and covers.
Just before I left I had two boxes thrust at me, a shoe box and a carton, both full of US stamp.
"You collect US. Here. A penny a piece, have fun."

So just now, before retiring for the night I thought I'd have a quick look in the shoe box, which contains envelopes full of stamps.
What does the first package I grab have in it? but over 40 cinderellas of every shape and size.
Here's a small sample.

I think there may be a heaven after all, and it's here in my basement!

Julen 1919 is a Danish Christmas seal, I believe.

Thanks Doug. Good to know.
Also included in the pile were these blanks. Possible test stamps? There's not gum visible that I can see, and admittedly the top pair may be selvage.

Dumped the large box on the dining room table last night and started wading through. Mostly modern stuff, so not of interest to me, but have managed to find a number of interesting cinderellas and labels.

Much patriotic stuff - US flags etc - but also some others like these.

National Wildlife Federation, Lion's Club, Cousteau Society. The anti abortion label is fluorescent red, but didn't scan well.
This is the most interesting, to my mind, The National Tax Limitation Committee, a conservative interest group dedicated to lowering taxes and smaller government (the experts can correct me on this one).

I think it will stay on piece, as the committee appeared to choose to save money on paper quality as well.
