Blackjag: what can you tell us about the beautiful building on your advert?

Sorry, no idea. Presumably a historic building based on the horses outside of it.

It's used by the Barrie Stamp Club, of which I'm a member since October 2011, on its literature.

I did a search of Barrie's home page, but couldn't find anything.

I do not live in Barrie.

JamesW, Bujutsu and I were there, as were many members of the Barrie Stamp Club, who hosted the event.

There were club members' displays which were both impressive and educational, ranging from a single frame to many, many frames.

Lots of dealers with extensive sales materials including postcards, mint and used stamps (both domestic and foreign), varieties, etc., etc., etc.

I was able to purchase an electronic microscope (just now available through Unitrade), the 2013 Unitrade (became available just the day before the show) and some needed one pocket per side Vario sheets, all with a 25% discount offered by the retailer.

True, I think the turnout was better than last years. I managed to get a few nice covers and some Canada ( small queens) and US material to fill some holes.
I found some prices a little high (a few club members I spoke with agreed with me there) but as with any event like this if you shop around you can often find something worthwhile. And many dealers were offering discounts.
Unfortunately I looked up and found both blackflag and bujutsu (and Mrs bujutsu) had gone. But I know we'll be seeing them soon.

Are you guys going to the Toronto one in November? Unfortunately I'll be going to Ottawa to see my girlfriend that weekend =( She is clearly not supportive of my hobby.
