825 German Stamps 1872-1945

Hello. I have recently recieved a collection of 825 German stamps. Most of them are good preserved. I have know nothing about this stamps or their value. I have atached some pictures. Can I sell them ? Any value? Thank you.

I have some troubles with inserting pictures. However I will give you the link from ebay. I posted the catalog my a friend suggestion. He told me that the value should be minimum 1000$ but it could be higher. He is not an expert. SO I have joined this forum to ask your opinion.

However there are only 12 from 17 pictures. ebay is limited to 12 pictures.

A close examination of each stamp is required, determining the watermark, perforations and checking for faults. Noone can determine the value of a collection without doing that.

That takes time, patience and a good stamp catalog. The grouping could be worth more than $1000. You will never get the right price for your stamps without taking the time to invest in them.

As a new member of our forum, you are not allowed to post links, especially links to your own items on ebay. You can post pictures, or links from ones that are hosted on a third party site.

My thoughts: nice collection, but nothing that would justify a $1,000 price tag. All the really valuable items seem to be absent in this collection.
