I just heard todat that the Canadian Postal Museum is being closed. Can anyone verify this??

Sad to say, but it's not a big loss.

I've talk about it maybe two years ago, I went to check it out with my father, big big deception. I could of stayed home and look at my own stamps and it would of been better.

I agree that it's not very good.

There was an exhibit a few years back which showcased some stamps from the Royal Collection. I was really impressed with that display =) I think that was done in the Museum of Civilization which will soon be the Museum of History.

From what I am reading in here, I guess I didn't miss anything <G>

I have to ask though, was there a 12 Penny Black there to see? If so, I can't see that in my collection

Yes, once

It was on display at CAPEX '96 and there were guards all around the exhibit.

At the same show, there were a few Seaway inverts too.
