Good evening,

I am a novice Canada Centennial collector and a couple of years ago I got a small book/booklet In a trade but I haven't been able to find any information on it yet.

It seems to be a presentation booklet to the series that was presented to people by the postmaster general (as you will see in one of the pictures). It's not addressed to anyone and the postmaster's signature is not included.

The book goes on to introduce the stamps and the painters who did some of the artwork. The stamps are real and are glued to the pages. I haven't checked to see which printings the stamps are but I assume it's from the first printing.

Have you seen this before? Any ideas on the history of this piece, a scarce item or so popular no one mentions it (I doubt that though).

I am including a couple of pictures of the item, let me know if you want to see the rest. The book includes the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (low denominations). and the 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50 and 1$ (higher denominations).

Thank you very much for your time. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Quoting from "Centennial Definitive Series 1967 - 1973" by Robin Harris at page 115:

This was an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, cyrlox bound booklet, presented to various individuals with the compliments of the Canada Post Office.

The 21 pages includes text in English and French and the set of 12 Centennial definitives issued in 1967 (affixed to the page).

At least five other presentation booklets exist with Centennial-related stamps...

Great stuff, thank you for the info. I will try to get my hands on that Harris book.

Does the book mention anything about how common this presentation booklet is?

Thank you.

Harris does not provide a value but you have a very good item! Keep it!!

The Harris book (430+ pages) is THE Centennial reference book.
