How many collectors out there are trying to put together a complete or near complete US collection and how close are you to completion. Could anyone tell me where I can buy the modern souvenir sheets in mint condition.

I am collecting USA stamps mint, sheets, blocks, svs etc. Since 1974 I have single mint for each year. when will I complete I have no Idea. So almost 40 years of collection I have at present am organizing it in Vario Stock sheets. Your best bet is SCF buy/sell section or swap with othr collectors.

I stopped collecting U.S. stamps past 1993, but I have a complete collection from about 1918 to 1993, I think, then I'm only missing a few back to maybe 1910. I collect mint 1900-1993, used pre-1900 and I am missing a ton of variants pre-1900. Airmail is complete.

As for modern stamps, haven't got a clue, can't stand them and won't touch them.

I am not sure one can have a complete collection. But that all depends on what ones definition of completed is. Once you finish the general catalog numbers, then complete the sub numbers, then it's Plate blocks, Arrow blocks, varieties, paper types.....etc.

You can find them on ebay.com, bidstart.com, and other sites as well. I have a bunch from the 90s up to about 2005. I don't have them all but if you are missing many of them, I can help but you will need 50 posts minimum before you can buy, sell or trade on SCF

There can only be one complete US collection at a time anyway. It has been done only once and is the current collection owned by Bill Gross.
