Tonight I wrapped up 28 auctions, the most I've run at one time for about three years. I want to list tons of stuff through May.

Seven items sold, but as usually happens, one item surprised me on the positive side, making it a good night. The other 21 will be relisted on Tuesday night, for a 5-day auction ending next Sunday night, plus I plan to add about 20 more items tomorrow, primarily postcards. Those will cost me 10c each to "schedule" for Tuesday night, but I've always felt scheduling was a good investment.

Scheduling is free with Auctiva, but I'm not quite ready to lay out $7-8 per month, especially since two images are free for picture postcards, front and back. For a card with philatelic merit, I will sometimes list it in two places, Collectibles (and) Covers.

I have 5 of the 7 items packaged and ready to go to the Post Office; they require Customs forms as they go to foreign countries but are too bulky to qualify as letters (which do not require Customs).

I have sold over 2300 items in the past 10 years, always willing to answer procedural questions here where everyone can read it. I have been lucky to maintain a 100% perfect Feedback, although Feedback (now in its convoluted illogical form) doesn't mean much anymore.

Most of my items will fall into the $5 to $20 range, and if more, I will specify shipment only to the U.S., where I can easily insure them.

Little trick I do. I schedule five or ten etc auctions for a much later time. Then, when I want to actually list the items, I change all the scheduled auctions to list immediately. Allows me to enter numerous auctions at the same time, without paying for the scheduling fee.

A stroke of genius LOL LOL. If we all contributed our own little tricks to get around ebay, we'd have them on the ropes in no time, and they would have to re-think all their ridiculous obstacles for Sellers.

My favorite is a letter I've written to numerous State attorneys-general, demanding that PayPal be regulated like a BANK, which it IS. A bank can't go in and pick your pockets whenever they feel like it, like PayPal can (and DOES).
