Imagine my surprise when, in an ebay search for FDC cachets of the 1945 Iwo Jima issue, I came across an auction listing for a Cinderella that I had never seen before (okay, I'll admit that I didn't even know what a Cinderella was until I joined this forum).

I probably paid far too much for the block but it was one of those irresistible "I've got to have that at all costs" impulses.

I'd really appreciate any information you might have on this little beauty!

Thanks Mac! If I decide to break down the block I'll send you one.

Timm, any idea what year this was produced? The seller thought it was from 1943 but I haven't been able to confirm that.

Supposedly 1974 or 1975 for their 200th anniversary.
