This is the high value of the 1859 issue of Parma, one of the Italian states.

Very heavily forged, by everyone who was anyone in forgery circles. Genuine examples are exceptionally rare.

It's a forgery made in Germany by Spiro brothers.

Here is the illustration from Serrane for spotting features of genuine Parma stamps...the design in question is addressed on the right half of the drawing.

Even though it's a forgery, it can be a nice addition to your collection, and for study. Some forgeries are valuable. Few years ago, I bought a nice collection of Portuguese India. Turned out that it had two dozen Fournier-forgeries of the early Crown issues. I still got my money's worth for the purchase and I've grouped all the Fourniers on one page.
