I did not find this stamp in Scott catalog is it fake?

I'm inclined to say fake however if one were to fake something like this then why would they add a margin straight-edge? The watermark looks a bit hinkie though? Unsure?

Looks like a genuine Jamaica #4a(1860) in the Scott catalog to me. I would say it is a used stamp (looks like a washed cancel around top?) with a major fault.

Orange is not registered in the Scott catalog.

It is in the Scott catalog. Jamaica #4a is orange. Jamaica #4 is brown orange.

As I mentioned in another one of your threads, it would be helpful if you would state right away in your first post -- why do you think it is a fake, rather than to leave us guessing.

Gibbons offers 'brown-orange' and 'red-orange' as the shades of this stamp (SG 4).

I see traces of purple in the lower half. If these stamps were also available for fiscal use, I'd say it was a washed fiscal.

looks perfectly genuine to me,

a washed out 4d. Red Orange, s.g. 4a, trimmed perf. at right.
