I picked these up in a lot I won. I have no clue of where they are from, I did a search on ebay using the words on the stamp, the closes thing I can come up with is maybe Spanish civil war?
Any help is greatly appreciated

The words are in Catalan and read "El Masnou Council" and "Liberty" (in the rising sun).

El Masnou is a town in Catalonia in Spain so I think you're right, they're probably a local issue of some kind from the Spanish Civil Period.

You got it very close. They are not Spanish, but Catalans, although we're still under Spanish rule (we hope, that not for very long!). El Masnou, is a 22,500 people Catalan town on the Mediterranean coast, 17 km NE of Barcelona. During the 1936-1939 war, el Masnou, like many other cities or towns, issued its own charity stamps; that, in some emergency cases, even went through post.

The house that you see on the right background is a country house, a "masia" or "mas" in Catalan; as the name in our language means "The New Country House". You can also see on the left, the waves of the sea, from wher the sun rises, as the town faces east to the Mediterranean.
