A big thank you, canadianphilatelist, from BC. The stamps you sent arrived today in great shape. Once again thanks for the generous offer.

So there are NINE values available!

My contact (who made 3 sets of the 8 values) called up one of the post offices, and sure enough, there was also a $1.22 value available prior to Jan 14 ... that he missed!

Anyone get the $1.22 value before the rate increase? Love to get a picture of it...

I see it now!

There is a standard of mail called medium lettermail.

http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/per...alprices.jsf

However, the fine print says that "Medium Lettermail is only available to consumers". I am not sure what "consumer" is but if it is bulk mailers, they certainly would not be using the Kiosks, printing one stamp at a time!

This covers the old $1.22 and the new $1.26 rate within Canada. I wonder if $2.20 and $4.36 stamps are available for medium lettermail to the U.S. or International.

Correction: $2.20 stamps are already available for another rate.

Fellow collectors from Quebec. Here is the answer that I got on Facebook from Canada Post. I live 20 minutes from Longueuil.

I suggest that Canada Post offers all denomination sets to collectors. We don't have this product in Montreal. So I wasn't able to buy all the stamps before the Tariff change last Monday.

..Canadian Stamp Collecting/Collectionneurs For now, we will not be selling these stamps in any form other than through the kiosk. However Sylvain, there will be a kiosk in the Jean Coutu (#35) Post Office in Longueuil at the end of January. That's the first one I can see installed in the greater Montreal area.

Sylvain, that's some great news. I'm also 15 minutes away from
Longueuil. Only question is, where is the Jean-Coutu #35?

Following my earlier Post, I am posting pictures of the rates I was able to purchase. Unfortunately, I could not return on Friday (time constraint) to get copies of the "Packets" rates......
In support of earlier posts, the basis 3 letter rates 63c, 1.10c and 1.85 can be purchased up tp 10 at a time, but for others, you must weigh in some bail (I used stacks of paper) and "print & Pay" one at a time....quite a lenghty process.
Also want to mention that the Kiosk attendant at Adelaid Office was quite helpful and told me that there were supposed to be approx. 20 or so other machines in Canada (could not tell where...I hope one is coming to Ottawa soon...). They also offer philathelic cancellation they had prepared for this location. Quite nice, but I did npot have time to pursue...Any way, here are the scans of what I have so far:

Thanks for sharing Gilles. When I go back to the Vancouver Kiosk, I guess I will have to plan a full day at the machine

When my letter mailed on January 12, 2013 came back with no postmark(s) whatsoever I decided to try it again.

I went to the Newmarket PO and was just going to dump it in the inside mail box when the lady behind the counter indicated to give it to her.

So I handed it to her and asked if she could cancel it with the counter hand stamp.
She said ok but first she put on a 2c stamp because the rates are now 63c as of January 14, 2013

Well today it came back with not only one but two cancellations.
Better late than never I guess.

I don't understand the frenzy surrounding these postage labels. Anybody here consider them as genuine postage stamps? Just a comment...cheers!

These are examples of British kiosk stamps:

The gold labels you showed are not analogous.
