Thank you again canadianphilatelist. I was very pleased to receive this today. The only let down was the Canada Post failure to cancel it. But thanks to El Correo here in Guatemala, there is no doubt it is postally used and dated.

The the sticker to the left of the stamp is placed on the front of every piece of international mail that enters the country. Below the barcode the date is a string of letters and numbers and in the middle there is "16ENE13". Sometimes Third World countries do better than First World countries but then again ... sometimes they don't; they had it 9 days before delivering it. Maybe the postal employees were admiring the stamp.

Is the HH in an arrow in a circle some sort of Canadian marking?

This is an interesting blog posting from Stamp Magazine dealing with the British Post and Go (PAG) Kiosk stamps:

http://blog.stampmagazine.co.uk/201...-and-go.html

The article shows different PAG designs.

Is this the future of Canadian Kiosk stamps.

Any news about the kiosk to be opened in Longueuil, QC, at the end of this month? I phoned them a few days ago and the clerk (unilingual but omni-pleasant) had no clue. (aucune idée.)

Got my hands on the 0.61, 1.05 and 1.80 stamps with the guide lines. I'm pretty pleased. Now for the rest.

I called again to the Jean Coutu Pharmacy in Longueuil QC and found that the kiosk was set up this morning! It is indeed at 1748 Chemin Chambly (corner Blvd. Jacques Cartier). Perhaps I will see some of you there tomorrow!

The set of 3 (61c, 1.05 and 1.80)on ebay are selling for $31-$32. I feel that the set at the old rate is going to become a very scarce item and could command a higher price. Current prices might become a bargain.

Seems they are going fast also. Was looking at what was online. There was a pair of the 0.61$ with the 0.63$. It sold for something like 11h50$ on a buy now as I was watching. There's a 1.80$ with his 1.85$ counterpart for 21.50$ still available.

Thanks Sak for the info. I had to go this evening. I'm a Coronation Street addict. So I recorded it and off I went to Longueuil.

Pretty easy with the machine. I got the Canada, USA and International. I did one oversize. Too complicated to collect. You have to weigh and punch a postal code.

I'll stick to collect only the 3 regular tariffs.

Oups sorry for our english speaking collectors.

Was asking Sylvain if I had to bring a weight with me to buy certain stamps.

Yes Minesweeper I you need an oversize stamp you have to use the scale. You weigh it and you put the postal code for a letter. I you choose the option for a parcel you even have to measure it.

If you buy regular tariff it is easy. You just choose the tariff.
