So back to the mundane how should I store this to protect it? I mean from the elements I have one of those almost as rare Canadian prohibted weapons class licenses already!! LOL! Its in a plastic sheet protector now in a folder.

In a heavy-duty archival-quality sheet holder/page, in a safety-deposit box (may be too wide for a standard box - don't fold it, even if it's already folded).

A stamp-supply dealer might send you a sample (sheet size) free. There's probably nothing wrong with a sheet protector, except I'd want something more rigid.
