Every time I pull off that dust cover and crack open my blue lighthouse cover binder I'm happily greeted with Zachary Taylor and Benjamin Franklin and a private messenger/despatch cover. I love them. Thought I'd share. Enjoy!

Stamp Lover, A great set and a better start on the album. I'm in the process of catalogging my Postal History collection. Though doing something very much like you have I went in a different direction on the Vario Sheets. I use the 3C sheet for most of my covers and when necessary the 2 C. The advantage I believe is that I can actually see the back side of each cover. This allows me to both see what may be written on the back or any postal markings on the back. For examples: I created small blocks for some notes using Excell and a paper cutter. Art |

Winston, They are indeed! But you have seen these before. I managed to steal, I mean purchase, them from a good friend of mine. Art |

Rather than use the small blocks of paper, I use Avery business cards to document what each item is. I use MS word to do a "mail merge" from my database to create the sheets, and then easily print the cards. This allows me to have cards to put in as placeholders for items I don't yet have as well. |

Jeff: What Lighthouse binder and Vario pages <assumption...> do you use for your covers? John |

Off the top of my head I think everything I have (with a few exceptions) are- Vario classic Grande (3 D-ring), or F ring, but I don't much care for the "Gigant" series though. I really like the Vario system a lot! Edit: My "first page" is a LOT better looking now! |
