OK, this is a civil war patriotic cover with, what I believe, is a completely contrived address and a s.o.t.n. #65 that's partially un adhered. The reason I believe that is that cursive font is 100% inaccurate for that time period. The stamp don't look natural eg: no dirt/grime build-up around the perforations and just looks not right.
Have a gander for yourself-

All the edges of the stamp warped up, caused by using starch paste to fix the stamp on the cover. It is obvious that this stamp was added later. Only the obliterator without a datestamp? Very questionable.

It's a shame that someone defiled that otherwise very collectable cover. Remember your grandmother's writing and how it differs greatly from ours and even that's different from what our children are being taught in schools now. I'm currently dealing with that with my daughter so I absolutely know for 100% fact that the writing is both wrong and unnatural. The flow just isn't there.

Although I'm not a very experienced collector. From my eyes, the envelope was originally plain and clean. Then probably stained with tea and coffee to give it that old look. The pen looks very recent, don't think that pen would match the era of the stamp. The stamp could be real but just cut off and glued onto the cover to make everything look old. So wouldn't touch that....

In the 1970s, there was a massive find of unused patriotic covers, and I'm thinking they were retailed at $39.95 per hundred. That would be the "feedstock" for bogus covers like this one.
