My 1983 Stanley Gibbons says there is an imperf version. SG127aa (Scott#57b). But Gibbons gives a price for unused for Plate 1, then prices used and unused for Plate 1 (1867) and Plate 2 (1874) I think the upper right corner, with it's wide margin, looks to be an imperforated edge.
With the 2 wide margins and 0 signs of perf indents that are generally seeen on a trimmed copy it very well could be an imperf- however it is extremely hard to get a certification of an imperf without a joined pair. Early UK stamps did have occasional wide "wing margins" that could be trimmed and still leave alot left over. There is no value stated for a used copy in scotts . Very possible imperf but very hard to verify as almost any expertizer will lean to the most likely situation especially when others are not known.
This issue is known for wide margins. The side margins are typical, and given the non-existent bottom margin, I would say the large top margin is also not remarkable.
There are divots at the left near the top, but those could just be nicks.
All known imperforates of the plate 1 are unused. Your position letters do match those known to have been removed from the archived imperforate imprimatur sheet, but it is unlikely to be that stamp.
My non-expert opinion is that somebody trimmed the perfs off a badly damaged off-center stamp. Nice stamp to own, but realistically your stamp is a space-filler. The catalog value is for a VF fault-free stamp.
Even if you disagree, as Nitrolures pointed out -- impossible to get it certified as imperforate.
My 2012 Gibbons Concise certainly makes a mess out of listings for #126-127, the two 5/- varieties. Impossible to be sure what they intended, but it's interesting to note that the imperforate variety only catalogs 50% more than normal; other imperforate Victorian stamps' premiums tend to be much higher.
