I came across this lot last weekend and camped by the computer until it was mine.

It was listed as a "Rare exploded NH booklet CV $1200". I took that to mean the seller only looked up Scott value for the four panes, which have a catalogue value of ~$1200. There are, in fact, two booklets shown. The complete booklets are not listed in Scott, so you don't know what's what.

If you look these up in Michel, the prices are as follows:

MH 19: €2500 MNH (top pane containing 5x 20pf + 5x 'X' and pane containing 10x 10pf)

MH 20.1 or 20.2 €900 & €1200, respectively (depends on the cover, which is not 100% visible.

Without the booklet covers, and taken as single panes, these add up to a total of:

€2450 Mint NH

My investment amounted to less than 11% cat value.

It pays to use Michel!

Brian

Nice find! I love scouring listings for deals like this, where knowledge of Michel can really pay off.

Are you mounting your Zd. and MH on pages? If so, make sure to post a photo when you get these beauties mounted.

These will go into Vario plus stock sheets for now. Your album page generator will help me to design some pages in the future, but I'm spread too thin as it is; I barely have enough time to build stockbooks!
