i conducted an experiment which proves beyond a doubt I am a hoarder..i took 30 dollars to spend and found two items I was interested in. 1) a Boer war cover..which I am sure I would have enjoyed. 2) was a topical collection of roughly the same price plus several dollars more for shipping..this one was a whim..not as solid as the Boer ! So I could hit the bid button for the collection or the buy it now for the cover ! Of course in my weakness I bid on the collection..i can add it to the stack of Millennium and World Wildlife albums..and dream about the Boer cover !

The 2nd step is to mail me all your excess items. I will start cleaning up my stamp room in anticipation immediately.

I had a stamp room. It is getting to crowded for me to work in. Tomorrow I'm going to look at a large Great Britain collection. I'll have to start another room.

The third step to recovery is dismantling the conveyor belt between your garage and your stamp room.

I have a stamp room too. It is the only place in the house where the original carpet floor has not been replace with hardwood or engineered laminate flooring. The 25 year old carpet is dirty, stained with watermark fluid, printer ink spots, red wine stains, etc. It is WAY to much work to move all the shelves, desks, etc!

A stamp room! I have none. I'm in the basement my father built in the early 70's. I have a bed, a bookshelf, a small desk and a Coldspot freezer that is 40 years old and still freezing. I use it to work on my stamps albums standing up. But still I enjoy my basement. It's were I spend most of my free time. Also I sometime pray my pc don't break. It's 12 years old but it was top of the notch when I bought it.

You just have the addiction most real collectors have. The thirst for more and more expensive when they can afford. There is no cure just temporarily relief.

Looks like me. Sometime I sort stamps on my bed and always look under it before I vacuum.

I refuse to call it a hoard. I am in denial. My stamp room was a corner of the lower level of my home. It has taken over the entire lower level. The kids are gone, but visit frequently. I told my wife that I am going to build another bookshelf this summer that will probably take up an entire wall. My stamp room has three desks, five file cabinets, four shelf units, two closets, all filled with stamps and covers, but I still refuse to call it a hoard. I also have a sleeper sofa and a huge high def TV down there because my wife is NOT in denial.
