Hi to all
These were also in the collection I bought yesterday.
I have covered the name and school and the student with white paper, as I do not want to identify him.
Can anyone give me any information about them.

I like the part"if lost and found drop it into a letter box " im sure a few clerks at the Post Office have supplemented their earnings with a few of these booklets.

These are often listed as 'Spitfire' savings stamps, though they depict a Boulton-Paul Defiant (with a turret mounted behind the cockpit) rather than a Spitfire.

Hello everybody this is my first time on the board.
Great booklet of war savings stamps. I will try to be the proud owner in a few days. I also have another version. There were quite a few printed.
My interest is in War savings ephemera, stamps, posters, booklets, bonds and associated slogans on envelops. I would really like to stir up some interest in the subject and will upload what I have collected so far. there is only scattered information on the web and you have troll through hundreds of instances of US and GB. Still life was not meant to be easy and I do like a challenge.

The stamps were printed by a series of different printers, om different papers and with different perforations. Any information would be gratefully accepted to try and build a reference.

Posters encouraged war savings and people began to organise street and community groups.

When your ard or cards was full you could redeem it for a war savings bond. In 2 pound 5 pound or 10 pound certificate.
